Sustainable Manufacture of Bearing Bushing Parts

Bearing bushing parts are used to support other rotating moving parts. When these bearing bushings made of bronze, their inner cylindrical surfaces can be finished by turning. The problem addressed in this paper was that identifying an alternative for finishing turning the taking into account specific sustainability requirements. Three alternatives have been identified. selection ensures highest probability diameter machined surface is included prescribed tolerance field first using second axiom axiomatic design. It thus observed initial alternative, success assessed a normal distribution 77.2%, while third which will correspond Maxwell–Boltzmann distribution, 92.1%. A more detailed analysis performed analytic hierarchy process method, distinct criteria assessing sustainability. evaluating cutting processing were identified principles from systemic analysis. application method facilitated approach some aspects proposed bushings, including economic, social, and environmental protection
